Macquarie Hunter Athletics was formed in 2008 through the amalgamation of two clubs that were based out of the Hunter sports Centre facility.

 

The two clubs;

Macquarie Shores Athletics and Hunter Track & Field identified synergies that by working together would form a club that provided a progressive path for Athletic development as well as a broad infrastructure that would support quality coaching and a professionally run weekly competition suitable for athletes

of all ages and abilities.

 

Macquarie Hunter Athletics now focuses on the full spectrum of athletics fromTiny Tots through to Veterans and catering for athletes with a range of abilities from AWD athletes, Social Athletes, Club Competitors, Amateur representatives through to Professional Athletes.
